What skills and experience we're looking for

Tottington High School are currently seeking to appoint an Apprentice ICT Technician who is self-motivated and an organised individual who will have a strong work ethic working alongside a passion for IT as this role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their IT knowledge and their career.

The ideal applicant will have/be:

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and members of the school community.
  • Team player with the ability to manage their time efficiently and prioritise technical issues to ensure a prompt closure.
  • Flexible approach and ability to work well on their own initiative.
  • Minimum 5 Grades A-C GCSE or equivalent inclusive of Maths and English.
  • Keen interest in IT and keeping abreast of latest developments in technology.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Products, IT Hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that learning in the workplace.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, encompassing both academic & work environments.
