The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to supporting students with a wide range of needs, including those with SEND
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, staff and parents
  • A patient, caring and resilient approach, with a genuine desire to help students grow in confidence, independence and achievement
  • Good organisational and ICT skills, with the ability to support learning effectively in a classroom environment
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to the wider school community
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm and a willingness to engage fully in all aspects of school life
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

While prior experience is helpful, it is not essential. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with the potential, attitude and enthusiasm to develop, as you will be supported to achieve a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification as part of this apprenticeship.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Learning Support Department and gain hands-on experience supporting students in both classroom and small group settings, while developing your skills and qualifications.
