About you:
Any individual applying for the post needs to be aware of strategies to deal with special needs requirements or be passionate to learn and undergo training
The work will includes one to one time but also working in smaller groups and with the full class
This position is to support children in the Early Years area of school who have Special Educational Needs
You must be passionate about children and their holistic development
You will need Level 2 (or equivalent) Mathematics and English
You will need to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and the wider community
You will need to understand confidentiality, child protection procedures, health & safety and the policies of the Governing Body and BDAT
You will have high expectations of children's achievement and a dedications to inspiring learners
We are looking to appoint someone who will foster the participation of individual pupils with Special Educational Needs in the social and academic processes of the school, enable pupils to become more independent learners and help to raise their standards of achievement and levels of progress.
