Salary: £8.00 p/h during the first year, increasing to minimum wage for age bracket after this period

We are seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a school that is committed to professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with individuals or small groups of pupils/students within the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff.

  • Under the direction/guidance of the class teacher, support pupils/students with behavioural, emotional and social development needs

  • Support in the development of individual learning plans and Student learning profiles

  • Learn and grow through formal training and on the job training.
