We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant, child‑centred forest school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in education who is ready to learn, grow and make a meaningful difference.
🌱 About the RoleSupport high‑quality learning across EYFS/KS1/KS2
Engage fully in Forest School sessions, embracing outdoor learning in all seasons
Provide active support during PE lessons, helping deliver safe, inclusive physical activity
Contribute to wider outdoor learning, including nature‑based activities, outdoor play and curriculum enrichment
Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver inclusive, nurturing provision
Participate actively in training, coaching and professional development
Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
Flexible mindset — able to adapt to changing needs throughout the school day
Team player — collaborative, supportive and proactive
Willingness to learn — open to feedback and committed to developing practice
Commitment to education — passionate about helping children thrive
Engagement in training — ready to complete all apprenticeship requirements
Confidence supporting PE, outdoor play and physical activity
