What skills and experience we're looking for

What you will do in your working day

Are you someone who is energetic and enthusiastic?

Can you develop a good relationship with children whilst promoting independence?

Can you work alongside the class teacher in order to personalise the curriculum?

Can you manage behaviour effectively and support children to regulate their behaviours?

  • Your job will be to work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils
  • To assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
  • Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, with direct support available from the teacher or senior member of staff

Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Desired GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Desired

You may also need to work towards Level 2 functional skills in maths and English if not achieved at GCSE.
