We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards your qualification. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and experienced support staff to help create a stimulating, supportive, and safe learning environment for all children, including those with special educational needs.
In this role, you will assist teachers in delivering educational activities both in and outside the classroom, providing 1:1 and group support to pupils. You will also be responsible for helping with the planning and preparation of resources, ensuring that classrooms are well-organised and conducive to learning. By supervising children during break times, playtimes, and lunch breaks, you will help to foster positive behaviour and interaction among pupils.
Additionally, you will support teachers with administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records, preparing lesson materials, and helping to adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of individual pupils. Your contribution will extend beyond the classroom, as you’ll play an essential role in promoting a positive learning atmosphere throughout the school.

Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C) in Maths and English.
- A desire to pursue a career in education and gain a recognised qualification.
- No prior experience is required, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with the other members of the school team to provide the highest quality inclusive education throughout school. The role requires you to have ambition and drive for working with children and empowering all stakeholders to ignite the spark, reveal the champion.
