Apprentice Teaching Assistant – Level 3 job summary
5 Dimensions Trust are seeking to strengthen it’s talent pipeline through the appointment and development of Apprentice Teaching Assistants. This is a really exciting opportunity for the Trust as well as for individuals who are keen to achieve a national qualification and who may be considering a future career in teaching, either at Primary or Secondary level.

To commence: September
Fixed-term for the duration of the apprenticeship programme, with the potential for a permanent role upon successful completion.
Part-time
Salary: Apprentice rate in line with National Minimum Wage for apprentices (£8.00-£12.71 per hour depending on age and stage of apprenticeship).

30 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 weeks per year)
8.30am to 3.00pm or 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday with a daily 30-minute unpaid break
We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, enjoy working with young people with additional needs and who can lead by example. You will be joining a supportive SEND team and working within one of our schools assisting students to achieve their full potential, while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
The ideal candidate will:
Have GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent)
Have a real passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs
Be able to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with students and staff
Be reliable, organised, and committed to your learning and professional development
Want to make a difference to the children in our care
