APPRENTICE Teaching Assistant job summary

St Frideswides is looking to appoint an inspirational , enthusiastic and caring Apprentice Teaching Assistant.

The role is term time only for the duration of the apprenticeship which is 18 months..

The successful candidate will provide support for :

• teaching and learning activities both within the classroom setting and in small intervention groups
• assist the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.
• assist with individual students with an EHCP

We are looking for someone who:

• has a passion for working with children
• is flexible, enthusiastic, has lots of energy and a real sense of fun and are calm and patient
• has an understanding of SEND
• has the ability to work as part of a team and to show initiative
• is keen to be involved in all aspects of school life
