We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning and development within our school. Working under the guidance of teachers, you will support individuals and small groups of pupils, helping them to develop educational, personal and social skills.

What You Will Do:
- Support Learning: Help individual pupils or small groups with reading, writing, and classroom activities.
- Create a Great Environment: Help the teacher prepare resources, set up learning spaces, and create vibrant classroom displays.
- Encourage and Motivate: Build positive relationships with pupils, boost their confidence, and help them overcome learning challenges.
- Keep Children Safe: Maintain a safe, happy, and inclusive environment by following our school safeguarding procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, caring nature
- A reliable, hardworking team player with a "can do" attitude
- Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards them alongside your apprenticeship
Visits to the Academy are encouraged and warmly welcomed by appointment through the office.

St Luke and St Philip’s converted from a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School to an Academy in May 2014. We are now a member of the Cidari Multi Academy Trust.
Our school provides a grounding in the Christian faith for all its children with emphasis on collective worship as part of its daily life. Christian values are built into the ethos and teaching of our school with the support of all Governors and staff for its Christian foundation. We also seek to encourage an understanding and respect for other world faiths.
