About the Role

Most your time will be spent supporting our students with 1 – 1 tuition. The provision of resources and programme is done for you (so you don’t have to do this); however, how you deliver this to be the most effective is down to you and your expertise. Each student has (2 hours? F2f?) tutoring. Alongside this you’ll work closely with academies/line managers and wider apprenticeship programme team to ensure the smooth running for our apprentices. Currently we have a small cohort and have allowed time to directly support. As our apprenticeship tutor, you’ll make sure your cohort are on track and ably guide and support at an early career stage.

This really is a nice role where you can help shape someone’s career and support our academies in developing apprentices ready to support in school and understand the Oasis ethos.

About You

You’ll definitely bring:

A positive attitude

A desire to see our apprentices succeed

An understanding of support in early careers

Experience of teaching on an apprenticeship programme and using a LMS platform (we use Aptem.)

Alongside this an alignment with the Oasis ethos and values, and a commitment to inclusion and high-quality learning is something that is very important to us.
