What skills and experience we're looking for

Would you like to be part of our ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision)?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN TA for 5 days a week from 08.15 to 3.15 pm with a half hour lunch break to support children on the Autistic spectrum.

You must be able to:

  • Demonstrate high expectations for all learners;
  • Create engaging and purposeful learning experiences;
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues;
  • Embrace our core learning behaviours of respect, motivation, teamwork, perseverance and focus;
  • Be committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential and
  • Have good oral and written communication skills, be proficient in the use of ICT and be able to work as part of a dedicated ARP and mainstream team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an excellent understanding of how children learn and their barriers to learning;
  • Understands the importance of adaptive teaching and inclusive provision;
  • Is committed to professional growth and collaborative working;
  • Brings energy, creativity and warmth to the role; and
  • Shares our belief that every child should feel safe, happy and successful at school
