Art and D&T Technician job summary
Vacancy for a Art and D&T Technician
Hours: 37 hours (Mon-Thur: 8.00am - 4.00 pm, Fri: 8.00am - 3.30pm)
Weeks per year: 39
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated Technician with excellent interpersonal and good organisation skills. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for predominantly Art and technology subjects. The role involves demonstrating effective organisation skills and knowledge to plan and organise students in the preparation of a range of activities in our Art and Design & Technology lessons. The role will include setting up classrooms and clearing up afterwards. (Part time hours will be considered for the right applicant.)
The Opportunity

- To support teachers to enable them to discharge their curricular responsibilities to all students

The ideal candidate
- Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English
- Knowledge of subjects
- Have good communication skills, be highly organised and enjoy working in a busy school environment
- Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude
