Vacancy for a Art and D&T Technician

Hours: 37 hours (Mon-Thur: 8.00am - 4.00 pm, Fri: 8.00am - 3.30pm)

Weeks per year: 39

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated Technician with excellent interpersonal and good organisation skills. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for predominantly Art and technology subjects. The role involves demonstrating effective organisation skills and knowledge to plan and organise students in the preparation of a range of activities in our Art and Design & Technology lessons. The role will include setting up classrooms and clearing up afterwards. (Part time hours will be considered for the right applicant.)

The ideal candidate

Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English
Knowledge of subjects
Have good communication skills, be highly organised and enjoy working in a busy school environment
Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude
