Art and Design Technician job summary

We currently have a new opportunity for a dynamic and flexible Art and Design Technician to join our team.

Job overview

To provide high-quality technical support to the Art & Design faculty, ensuring safe, effective preparation of materials, tools, and equipment, including woodwork and workshop machinery, to facilitate outstanding teaching and learning across Art, Design, and Textiles.

The right candidate will have:


  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics
  • Experience working in an art, design, workshop, or creative environment
  • Experience using machinery or hand tools safely
  • Practical skills in art, design, craft, or workshop processes.Ability to safely operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery (training can be provided).
