Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.
You will have:
- A Levels or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school.
- Experience of keeping work records.
- The ability to carry out risk assessments in relation to practical work.
- The ability to effectively direct the work of a team.

About Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Birmingham East
Eden Boys’ School, Birmingham East is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old boys, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in 2018 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in January 2023.
We have an exemplary reputation for excellence in every aspect of school life. We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action. Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Birmingham East is an 800 place, 11-19 Muslim faith-based secondary school. It opened in September 2018, admitting 120 boys into Year 7 and 60 boys into Year 8, and welcomes applications from pupils of all faiths and none.
