Art/DT Technician job summary

We are looking to recruit an individual to work with teachers as part of a professional team to support by providing technical assistance through the preparation and day-to-day maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for pupils. The post would suit a creative individual who enjoys working with materials in a 3D workshop/studio environment, somebody with Art, graphics/ Product design experience and CAD/ CAM qualifications.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities include;
- Provide practical support to the teaching team.
- Set up resources/materials/equipment for lessons
- Safely and securely store allocated equipment and materials and equipment to prevent unauthorised access/misuse
- Secure and work with hazardous materials
- Provide clerical and administrative support as directed
