The department benefits from two dedicated art studios, alongside specialist facilities including a kiln and printmaking resources, providing students with a rich and creative learning environment.
The department has a strong track record of delivering excellent outcomes across all Key Stages, with GCSE Art results consistently among the strongest in the school. Students are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and creativity through a broad curriculum encompassing drawing, painting, printmaking and 3D work. We are proud of our inclusive approach, supporting and inspiring students of all abilities to achieve success and develop a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
Beyond the classroom, the department offers a wide range of enrichment opportunities.
