What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Technician to support the art department according to timetable requirements on a 30 hours per week contract. The Technician provides practical support across the whole department in all aspects of its work including:
· Organisation and preparation of materials to support practical classroom based activities; · Organisation of stock control and undertaking of all ordering; monitoring of monthly accounts;
- Assist in classes by formal arrangement, e.g. helping individual/ small groups of students;
- Organise and maintain displays in art classrooms and framed artwork throughout the school;
- Selling equipment to students; record art sales and bank money with the finance team;
- Assist with the administration of trips and visits by booking coaches and liaising with galleries;
