ASC Coordinator and Class Teacher job summary
Our School is a bright, joyful and outstanding School serving pupils aged 3 -19 with severe and profound learning needs and their families across the North of Cumbria; we have a significant proportion of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and we are looking to recruit a new lead to support ASC across our School as our current lead is leaving.
Our School is rated as outstanding by Ofsted, and is accredited by the National Autistic Society for its work with our pupils, their families and community. We want our new lead to maintain these standards and in partnership with our whole community ensure we exceed these standards.
We’ll need you to lead on ASC which will mean being a beacon of outstanding practice that others can learn from, supporting our staff gain and maintain their knowledge of ASC, supporting our parents with strategies and knowledge and also supporting our community partners for ASC, most importantly with our whole community you will make learning and life better for our pupils.
We will expect you to maintain the highest levels of commitment to safeguarding our pupils.
