Contract: Permanent Hours of work: 30 Hours per week, all year round (Monday - Thursday 12:30 - 19:00, Friday 12.30 - 18:30) Salary: BG6 £19,698 - £20,092 (Actual £15,971 - £16,290) Closing date: Monday 13th December 2021 at 9.00am Interview date: Wednesday 15th December 2021 The Local Governing Body are looking to appoint an organised and hardworking assistant caretaker to join our school team as soon as possible. Purpose of the post is to provide efficient caretaking support to Filton Avenue Primary School, ensuring that effective security and the general appearance of the building and surrounding areas is maintained in accordance with required standards. The post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties of caretaking and supporting cleaning, ensuring that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered to. The successful applicant will be/have: • The ability to work as part of the caretaking team to provide a safe, clean and well-maintained environment, for all users of the school buildings and grounds • the ability to be able to work individually or as part of a team • one years’ experience of working in a similar role or be able to show they have the necessary skills to meet the demands of the role • committed to working in a small team to ensure the school is ready for pupils to learn every day.
