Assistant Caretaker job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Caretaker/Housekeeper at Horton Grange Primary School.
The successful candidate will provide compliance, maintenance & security services on school sites & premises.
Horton Grange Primary School is part of Exceed Academies Trust, which currently consists of fourteen academies; ten primary schools, an all-through primary-to-secondary academy, two alternative provision academies (Primary and Secondary), and a specialist setting for children/young people who suffer from social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The successful candidate will:
- Undertake or arrange repairs/maintenance as instructed by the Site Manager
- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school building and grounds
- Support with opening and locking the school premises
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Ensure the site is clean, safe and hazard free for pupils and staff, reporting any issues to the Site Manager
- Be a team player with a practical, hands-on approach
