Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

You will have:

  • City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or NVQ catering equivalent (Level 1 and 2).
  • Experience of preparing, cooking and serving food for large numbers, including the ability to scale recipes up and down to suit varying numbers.
  • Experience of ordering commodities, completing food costing’s, stock control and general kitchen administration duties.
  • An awareness of dietary requirements for catering.
  • The ability to work unsupervised to produce nutritious, economical, well presented meals of good quality.
