What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen for the school to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Chef (Temporary) at St Julie’s Catholic High School to join our committed Catering Team. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of meal preparation and delivery. Specifically, to prepare meals ensuring high quality and consistency and to assist in developing new dishes.
We want our Assistant Chef to:
- be passionate about serving delicious, nutritious meals in a warm and friendly environment
- be stringent about all aspects of food hygiene and food preparation
- be a positive and proactive team player, forging strong and supportive working relationships with colleagues
- have a commitment to training and developing your skills

St Julie’s Catholic High School is a popular and oversubscribed school for girls, situated in the conservation area of Woolton Village, South Liverpool. In September 2017, we moved into our brand new £23 million school building.
In May 2023 OFSTED graded St. Julie’s as Good with Outstanding features, with the same judgement reached by the Catholic Schools’ Inspectorate in February 2024.
