Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent member of staff to perform the role
of

Assistant
Cook based at Ivy Lane School.

 Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 9.00am
– 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time only, plus TD Days).

Salary range: C2-C4 £22,366-£23,114 pro rata, actual salary £14,298 - £14,777
per annum

Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry
Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire and is part of the
Pickwick Academy Trust. We also have our on-site Sunflowers Nursery which
accepts children from the age of 3 years old.

Provision. We also have an extensive provision of social and emotional support
for our children.

We are looking to appoint a new
member to our catering team to perform the role of Assistant Cook at Ivy Lane
Primary School.


Duties will include:

·       
Assisting the head cook in meal
preparation and cooking tasks

·       
Helping with kitchen organisation
and cleanliness

·       
Following recipes and guidelines for
food preparation

·       
Ensuring food safety and sanitation
practices are followed

·       
Maintaining a clean and organised
work area

The jobholder must have previous experience of working within a catering
environment, demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare
of children and young people.  This will position
involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting
systems for any Safeguard concerns, as well as completing on-line Food Hygiene
training.
