Assistant Cook job summary

The role of Assistant Chef, primarily based at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading, Crescent Road, is a busy post which will require the successful candidate to have experience of working in a kitchen, delivering outstanding service and quality food to a high volume of customers.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Preparation of food
  • Help develop the service which includes menu planning and supplies ordering
  • Overseeing service
  • Mentor catering staff.
