This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Maths teacher to support the department at Sir Harry Smith Community College. The school has a strong ethos in well-being and creating a sense of belonging for all our students. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic qualified teacher to assist the Curriculum Manager in leading our talented and experienced Maths department.
The successful candidate will assist the Curriculum manager for Mathematics in leading the department and teaching Mathematics across key stage 3, 4 and 5. You will need to be creative, innovative, efficient, and committed to improving outcomes for all students. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and help lead a team of collaborative teachers who are committed to a progressive and stimulating approach to teaching and learning and instilling a passion for Mathematics in our students.
