Assistant Head of Catering job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Head of Catering at Oastlers School.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Catering in a range of duties and will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service is provided throughout the school.
Oastlers School is a Trauma Informed UK School, supporting children and young people with SEMH needs to move towards positive emotional and relational health — so that learning, and lives, can flourish.

The successful candidate will (but not limited too) :
- Assist with the allocation and control of kitchen staff
- Undertake full cooking responsibility
- Assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of cooking
- Be front facing with colleagues and learners at lunch service time
- Be dedicated to sharing responsibilities for raising standards
- Enjoy a collaborative style approach to working and learning
- Have recent and relevant experience relating to the post
