Hours of work: Term time (plus five training days), 37 hours per week

Salary: L5 - starting at £15.56 per hour - Actual Salary £26,096 per annum

Over view of the job

We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and motivated individual to join our friendly pastoral team.

You would be part of a strong and committed team who make significant contributions towards improving academic outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a key point of contact for pupils with challenging behaviours, providing mentorship and support to allow students to develop more effective social skills.
  • Support the roles of Head of House and Classroom Teacher in developing and applying effective strategies for resolving behaviour issues in and around the school.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the student and parent communities, focussing on positive communication based approaches to supporting students to achieve high standards of behaviour for learning.

Knowledge of a second language, Bromcom, Microsoft Office and Google would be an advantage.

Purpose of the post

To assist the Pastoral Team in all aspects of pastoral work, including inclusion and improving academic outcomes.
