Assistant Head of Year job summary
This is a new role here at Kings Priory and supporting the Head of Year you will lead on day to day operational pastoral support for your year groups and act as a key link between school and home. You'll support students with behaviour, attendance and wellbeing. Working closely with the safeguarding team you'll liaise with external agencies and other key stakeholders as appropriate.
In addition to supporting your year groups as Assistant Head of Year you will complete C Card training and lead sexual health provision across the whole of KS4, supervise KS3 pupils after school and before club provision starts and act as home/school liason for EBSNA pupils.
If you have experience of working with young people, strong communication and organisational skills and a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding we'd be keen to hear from you.
