Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion Leader job summary
About this Role
To lead on the strategic direction, development and promotion of inclusive practices and culture. This includes safeguarding, throughout the school. The role involves organising provision, monitoring impact and ensuring this is suitable for your cohort. As Inclusion Leader you will support school policies and procedures, analysing pupil assessment data to ensure early identification and intervention is in place and impactful allowing high quality outcomes for all groups of learners and specifically pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL); Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Pupil Premium and other vulnerable children.

- Lead and develop others through coaching and collaboration
- Maintain ambitious expectations for every pupil
- Be a skilled communicator, able to build trust with pupils, families, and professionals.
- Focus on strengths before barriers and enable all pupils to participate and achieve
- Inspire colleagues through creativity, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Have a National SENCo Qualification/ NPQ SENCo award

About the School
Cage Green is a one form entry primary school for children aged 4-11 and the Phoenix Centre for Autism which accommodates 22 children. The most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2023) the school achieved 'Good' with outstanding areas in personal development, behaviour and attitudes and leadership and management
