Assistant Headteacher (Permanent) job summary
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join our team as soon as possible.
This candidate should be dedicated to raising standards across the primary using their skill, expertise and vision to work alongside our existing Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will:
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is experienced in raising the achievement and attainment of children.
Be able to demonstrate excellent educational knowledge, with a sound understanding of the wider curriculum, phonics and early reading, in order to work with colleagues in a mentoring capacity, to further improve the quality of teaching and learning throughout the primary.
Have a sound understanding and successful experience of teaching across the primary age range.
Support the Senior Leadership Team in continuing to develop a vibrant learning community in which everyone is able to reach their potential.
Be enthusiastic, committed to team work and have a proven ability to forge excellent relationships within and beyond our school community.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and inspire colleagues and children.
Have excellent leadership and management skills.
Have consistently high expectations for behavior.
Be committed to developing excellence in learning within an exciting primary curriculum.
Demonstrate outstanding communication skills in order to successfully engage with all stakeholders.
Be experienced in taking the lead on whole school curriculum developments.
Be passionate about seizing all opportunities for the school and its community.
