Abbots Green Academy is a growing two-form primary school with aspirations to drive an outstanding curriculum.
With our strong vision and ethos, we’re looking to extend our Senior Leadership team with an additional Assistant Head teacher to join us on our journey to excellence.
Abbots Green is keen to share its united commitment to a bespoke curriculum with inclusivity for all of our pupils. To be considered for this role, an applicant must have previous leadership experience and be keen to develop as part of a team of excellent teachers, leaders and wider trust professionals.
As part of our team this role will offer:
• Dedicated leadership time each week
• A supportive, dynamic leadership team with a united approach to the school’s vision and journey to outstanding
• Frequent training and CPD as part of the wider trust of schools
• Training and leadership opportunities within the Bury Teaching hub (currently based at the school)
• Opportunities to be involved in the Trust’s Research school and as part of its Teaching School Hub status.
• Working in collaboration with Apple to develop the use of 1:1 iPad in all aspects of teaching and learning through Key Stage 2
• Your own iPad
• A commitment to well-being and support from a dynamic, fun and hardworking team
