What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be asked to:

1. Under the direction of the Headteacher and as part of the Senior Leadership Team to play a major role in the leadership and development of the school.

2. Take the lead in oversight of an agreed Curriculum area/s

3. Have full strategic leadership and accountability, for of all aspects of assessment and reporting arrangements, pupil achievement, across the school from EYFS to KS2; Data/Results Analysis and relevant Target Setting.

4. Liaise with the Deputy Head, on the strategic leadership of curriculum development.

5. 0.5 teaching responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Be an outstanding and inspirational practitioner, who is passionate about accelerating progress and raising attainment through motivating and inspiring pupils and staff

Dormers Wells Infant and Junior School is a federated, multicultural Infant School Academy – part of the Dormers Wells Learning Trust in Southall, with a strong reputation for and commitment to inclusion and child protection. The Junior School was Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with ‘Outstanding’ Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development in June 2022.
