Assistant Headteacher (Achievement) job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher: Achievement to join West Walsall E-ACT Academy. The purpose of this role is to be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), supporting the Headteacher with the strategic leadership of the Academy. The post holder will be responsible for the key focus area or Teaching and Learning, implementing strategies that support this specialism. 

Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher/Headteacher, this post holder will be accountable for:

•    Provide strategic leadership for teaching, learning and assessment within their areas of responsibility
•    Ensure standards of support are effective across all areas of responsibility
•    Monitor appropriate targets for student outcomes and performance against those targets
