Assistant Headteacher and SENDCO
Job type: Full time or part time, permanent. Start date: September 2024 or as soon as possible Leadership Pay Scale L1–L4 pa, depending on experience. Applications considered upon receipt
There is flexibility for 0.8 / 0.6 FTE for the right candidate
Purley Church of England Primary School is a small 4-class village school, currently with 98 children on roll.

We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO who:
- Has experience in leadership and highly effective in communicating with parents, professionals and other colleagues
- Has the NASENCO qualification, or may wish to pursue the NPQ for SENDCOs when appointed
- Is passionate about high quality, personalised provision for children with additional needs in order for them to achieve their full potential
- Is responsible for staff development over SEND processes and interventions
- Is committed to contributing towards the strategic direction of the school
- Is well organised, hardworking and enthusiastic
- Is a positive professional who will actively support the ethos, vision and Christian values of the school
