Bannockburn Primary seeks to appoint an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for leading a team within a curriculum area. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in enabling the quality of teaching and learning to be as good as it can be, with a focus on inclusive practice and adaptive teaching. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference at our school.
The newly appointed assistant headteacher will have responsibility for:
- supporting curriculum provision across the school
- supporting quality of teaching and learning across the school
- pupil progress and achievement for all pupils within a designated responsibility
- ensuring staff are supported in achieving consistent best practice
- mentoring and inducting new staff
- being visible as a senior leader for staff, pupils and parents
