What skills and experience we're looking for
This position has become available at an exciting moment for the school as we move into the next phase of our strategic development. We are using this opportunity to strengthen our leadership capacity even further, ensuring that our students continue to benefit from exceptional pastoral care, a strong culture of respect, and consistently high expectations. We are now seeking a leader who can help shape the next stage of our journey.
Full details of the role will be explored at interview; areas of specific responsibility will include:
- Driving standards of behaviour, promoting positive ethos and culture
- Leading high quality pastoral care
- Implementing and monitoring attendance
We are looking to appoint a dynamic leader who:
- confidently translates a clear strategic vision into purposeful and effective day-to-day practice, ensuring impact across the school.
- is an exceptional classroom practitioner who models exemplary standards and supports others to do the same.
- has a proven track record of improving behaviour and culture, and who can lead teams with credibility, clarity and compassion.
- motivates and inspires both students and staff, securing engagement and driving continuous improvement.
- brings innovation, resilience and reflective practice, approaching challenges with perspective, positivity and professional integrity.
