We are looking for an enthusiastic leader, determined to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their potential. The successful candidate will work with the senior leadership team, responsible for the strategic leadership of teaching and learning and subject leader development, as well as having a teaching commitment. They will support our school’s commitment to delivering a creative, broad and balanced curriculum and working with senior and middle leaders, will be responsible for providing outstanding care and provision, for all our children.

Broom Valley Community School Primary school is rated “good” by Ofsted and is situated in the centre of Rotherham. We are a two-form entry primary school, who are seeking to appoint an Assistant head to help lead the strategic improvement of teaching and learning and subject leader development. We are an inclusive and friendly school, which has a diverse catchment at the heart of our community. We are an outward facing LA maintained school, working closely together with local networks, Hubs and working parties, keen to work in partnership to support staff and create a sustainable model of education for all our students and staff.
