We are a thriving SEN secondary academy with around 210 pupils in Years 7–11, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans. Our students have a range of learning difficulties, autism, and speech, language and communication needs. Pinewood is a SEND Secondary School in Ware, Hertfordshire which provides education for students with a range of needs including Autism, Down’s Syndrome and other conditions that result in a developmental delay. We cater for roughly 210 pupils in School, years 7 to 11.
