What you'll be doing

  • Leading and championing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the school.
  • Driving improvement priorities that raise achievement, engagement and outcomes for all pupils.
  • Supporting and developing colleagues through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
  • Using data, evidence and evaluation to inform decision-making and secure continuous improvement.
  • Promoting high expectations, inclusion and ambition for every pupil.
  • Working alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to deliver the school's vision and strategic priorities.
  • Leading agreed areas of school improvement and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable impact.
  • Contributing to self-evaluation, policy development and organisational effectiveness.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, families, governors and external professionals.
  • Promoting a culture of safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion and excellence across the school.
