Are you looking for a leadership role where you can shape the future of early years education in a supportive and dynamic environment?
Do you want to be part of a school community that values professional growth and the well-being of both staff and pupils?
If so, Gladstone Primary Academy is looking for you!
Following the promotion of our current post holder to an infant school headship, we are excited to recruit an ambitious and dedicated Assistant Head for EYFS to lead on our Gladstone Street Site.
Your role:
As the Assistant Head with responsibility for EYFS, you will oversee Preschool and Reception classes, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning while fostering strong relationships with pupils and parents. In the absence of the Headteacher and Deputy Head, you will act as Head of the Gladstone Street site, providing strategic and operational leadership. You will be class-based for two days a week to model best teaching practices, manage EYFS staff, and support pupils' development.
You are an exceptional educator with QTS and extensive EYFS experience. You are someone who can drive excellence in early years education while leading across KS1 and contributing to whole-school improvement.
At Gladstone Primary Academy, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative community, working closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Head, Senior Leadership Team, and colleagues across the Trust. You will contribute to the overall direction of the academy, develop and implement key policies and action plans, and drive innovation and excellence.
We warmly welcome visits from prospective candidates interested in being part of our team.
