What skills and experience we're looking for
This is a predominantly non-class-based leadership role, forming a key part of the Senior Leadership Team, with a strategic focus on ensuring high achievement and well-being for all pupils, particularly those in vulnerable groups, including pupils with SEND.
The job description provides a general outline of the typical duties and responsibilities to be carried out whilst accepting that these may change at the discretion of the Headteacher.
We are looking for someonewho:
- Has the ability and willingness to be flexible and versatile within this role.
- HasQualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training (or willingness to undertake)
- Can be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of raising achievement for all pupils, including those with SEND.
