Governors are looking to appoint an Assistant Head for our KS2 to join our leadership team from September 2025, working in partnership with the Headteacher and current leadership team.

What is the job role?

The successful candidate will:-

  • Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Be responsible for the organisation and leadership within Year 3 and Year 4
  • Be responsible for additional areas of responsibility such as subject leadership

Who are we looking for?

You will:

• Be passionate about learning and be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership.
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and have a clear vision for further development of the curriculum.
• Have a deep understanding of the needs of different children and be passionate about providing the very best for all children in our school.
• Have a clear understanding of Safeguarding and the role of a leader in this process.
• Play a role in organisation and school policy development.
• Have the personality, drive and energy to motivate and support everyone within our learning community.
