Salary: L25-33 - £55,203 to £60, 897 per annum
Contract Type: Full Time
Contract Term: Permanent
Location: Hampshire

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly effective leader to the role of Assistant Headteacher to join the senior leadership team in this successful 11-16 school in the north of Hampshire. The school has grown considerably in recent years and this new post is an addition to our well-established senior team.
Frogmore Community College is a good and improving school. We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos and our relatively small size enables us to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of each individual. Progress and attainment have remained strong over several years and Ofsted rated the school as good in January 2017. You will be joining the school at an exciting time as we seek to build leadership capacity; you will have a real opportunity to impact on the whole school and contribute to shaping the vision for the next stage in our journey.

We are seeking someone who will inspire, develop and enable staff to deliver great learning – every lesson, every day. You will have a passion for teaching and a depth of knowledge, understanding and experience of best practice in the classroom. Your leadership to date will have had a significant impact; raising the quality of teaching, learning and progress within your school. You will be able to lead through others and encourage a climate in which teachers feel confident to take risks and innovate. You will be someone who has an outward facing perspective and creates collaborative opportunities with other schools in the pursuit of the highest standards.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed: the friendly, purposeful atmosphere will hopefully encourage you to want to become part of our Frogmore family.

For further information, and to apply, please visit the school website: www.frogmorecollege.co.uk or email Helen Humfryes on h.humfryes@frogmorecollege.co.uk

Closing date for applications: Monday, 2nd March 2020 at 12 noon.

There is something very special about the atmosphere and ethos at Frogmore; something that is so frequently commented upon by visitors to the school. At the heart of our ethos is the notion of the Frogmore family. Each and every member of our Frogmore family is valued: whatever their strengths, they are supported to flourish and excel. High standards are expected and are the norm. Only the very best behaviour, attitudes, appearance and learning are acceptable. In 2018, the progress made by our students was amongst the best in Hampshire. Strong relationships between staff, students, parents, as well as between the students themselves, create a healthy climate in which everyone can thrive. We believe that, within this atmosphere, our students discover that it is possible to enjoy their school years and leave with tremendous prospects. Our ethos extends to our care for staff: we want every member of our Frogmore family to flourish. Our small size and strong relationships mean the sense of mutual support is tangible. We are a community of learners and, as such, professional learning is a high priority. Whether you are new to the profession or have significant experience, we will provide a variety of opportunities for you to learn and grow. In every respect we truly are ambitious for every member of our team. Come and experience this ethos and atmosphere for yourselves.
