What skills and experience we're looking for
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our successful and thriving Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have the drive and determination to continually improve standards throughout the school.
The successful candidate should expect to lead in the following areas:
- Teaching and Learning strategic development (to include assessment for learning and homework)
- Pedagogical practitioner research
- Coordinating sharing of best practice through the Sharing Good Practice Schedule and Teach-meets
- To lead the continual professional learning (CPL) of all staff, including ECTs and oversee the induction programme
- Assist Quality Assurance
- Oversight of school reading strategy
- Bespoke Mentoring and Coaching plans to improve Teaching and Learning effectiveness
- Instructional coaching lead
- Responsibility for staff induction
