What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to an internal restructure, we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who would be responsible for either Curriculum and Assessment or Attendance and Behaviour - please state your preference and strengths in the relevant area in your application.

You will champion high standards in your relevant area across the school. Liaison with middle leaders will be key, supporting the strategic direction of the school.

You will have:

Qualified Teacher Status

Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all children

A proven track record as an excellent classroom teacher

Successful experience as a current middle or senior leader in a primary school

A strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils

We are a two form entry primary school with a Nursery, and currently have 430 pupils on roll. We have grown substantially over the last 5 years and are a popular choice in the local area, with our F2 admissions being full in September 2025.

Our children are provided with a wide ranging, broad and balanced curriculum and we offer a large range of extra curricular activities.

We offer excellent CPD and support for all our staff, and put mental health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do - for our children and for our staff.
