Assistant Headteacher- Inclusion job summary
The Assistant Headteacher, under the direction of the Headteacher, will lead on inclusion at Camestone School, providing the strategic direction for inclusive practices. The post holder will be expected to be involved with the leadership of teaching and learning at whole-school and phase level.
The role will include the following;
-Leading a phase within the school
-Lead on SEND provision across the school
-Take responsibility as a whole school leader for identifying areas for improvement linked to whole school improvement imperatives, actively supporting then monitoring progress towards achievement.
-Take a lead role within the inclusion team to support all vulnerable children (disadvantaged, EAL, child protection and persistent absentees), working alongside- SLT, Family Support Worker and Attendance Officer
