About the Role

Are you an experienced school leader who is passionate about inclusion and ambitious for every child? Featherby Partnership Schools are looking for an inspirational and collaborative Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the next stage of our school's development. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is ready to take their next step. You'll bring a strong understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum alongside a genuine commitment to ensuring every child can participate, belong and achieve. As Assistant Headteacher, you'll have the opportunity to influence practice across our school, develop colleagues and help create the conditions in which pupils and staff can thrive. You'll combine strategic leadership with a visible presence in everyday school life, building strong relationships with children, colleagues, families and our wider community.

In this role, you will:

  • Champion inclusion and help ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive

  • Contribute to the strategic leadership and continued improvement of Featherby

  • Lead and develop high-quality inclusive teaching, learning and curriculum practice

  • Coach, support and inspire colleagues, building confidence and capability across the school

  • Use evidence, insight and data to identify priorities and drive improvement

  • Work collaboratively with leaders, families and professionals to remove barriers for children

  • Play an active role within the Senior Leadership Team and wider life of the school
