Assistant Headteacher with Phase Leadership Responsibility and Writing Lead
Kettering Park Junior Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to raising standards across the school, with a focus on Phase Leadership and Writing. As the Writing Lead, you will be responsible for driving excellence in literacy teaching, ensuring the development of high-quality writing skills across all year groups. You will work closely with staff to deliver engaging and challenging writing curricula, provide CPD opportunities, and monitor progress and outcomes.
In addition to your leadership of writing, you will take on a Phase Leadership responsibility, collaborating with teachers to support the academic and social development of students in your phase, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to make a significant impact on the academic success and wellbeing of our pupils, within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
