What skills and experience we're looking for

Following the retirement of the current postholder, we are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Assistant Headteacher, with a proven track record of success, who will work closely with the Headteacher and the wider senior leadership team in all aspects of the day to day running of the school. The successful candidate will lead, manage and develop key strategic areas, aligned to school priorities as part of this role.

There is flexibility in determining the specific responsibilities to tailor the post to the successful candidate's skills and experience.

What the school offers its staff

Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. This is a great time to join the school and a fantastic opportunity for the right colleague to help develop the future strategic direction of the school.

Visits to the school, providing an opportunity to discuss the post further with the Headteacher, are encouraged.

We can offer you:

  • an enthusiastic, talented and supportive team
  • a newly built and superbly resourced teaching and learning environment
  • excellent opportunities for CPD
  • a staff health and well-being programme
  • a warm, friendly and positive working environment where everyone is valued
